Today was a very windy day and we were fighting the current most of the day! We had the jib up for about 3 hours and then the wind shifted more to the south so that was the end of that. It sure felt good to drop the anchor! We were ready for a break.
The first thing I did was grab a fishing pole. I "did" catch a fish, but it was a cat fish, and it was very small! I couldn't get the hook out of him so I threw him back with the hopes he will survive. Derek told me that hooks were made to dissolve now when fish swallow them, so I'm hoping he's right!
Hopefully tomorrow will be a better day...but it's not sounding like it according to the weather reports!
