Lake Worth Day 4 - 7

There Bob is again working on my SSB!
His belly is laying on a pillow and his butt is keeping
him from falling in!
 SSB culprit!
You can see on top of the copper where it used to be connected
to another piece.  Bob replaced the whole copper piece and added
some additional copper.  I should be good to go!  Now if I can
just remember how to use it again!
This is the boat with the 3 kids living on it.
Last night it was supposed to be blowin' 30+ so Tom (the owner)
decided to put another 30' of chain out unbeknownst to us...then the following
day they went into town...Now it's low tide and slack and his boat just
keeps swinging back and forth and getting closer and closer...after about
an hour of keeping it off of us the owners come home...thankfully!
After all is said and done he comes over to "apologize" I think?? and
in the same breath said when we came in he felt we dropped a little close to him???
One of our many sunsets the last few days
There they are!  My big boys!  I just love them so much!!!!!!!!

Well let's see...what have we been up to these last few days! l

Bob did get the copper done for my SSB radio.  Now I'm going to have to read the book again and familiarize myself with it!! We also got our boat card done!  Yay!  We even put a couple of tidbits on the back of it about Bob and I.  I'm pleased with it. We now have a fuel filter on Zippy our dinghy.  Hmmm?  Bob said it was the right thing to do since the gas is so dirty!

I on the other hand, have been working on curtains.  As much as I hate to say this, I think once is everything is said and done, I'm not real happy with my curtains.  They are too busy.  I think as long as I keep them open I will be fine with them.  But I see another pair in the future and the material will be a lot easier to deal with.  In meantime, I have 4 more windows to make curtains for.

We had a good rainy day a couple of days ago so I was able to wash the boat.  It does look better I have to admit.  We've done a lot of running around in town, I've made a couple of batches of cookies, have everything for Thanksgiving dinner, and are wondering where we will be.

We were supposed to leave this morning for Boca Raton but it was too windy.  We need to get diesel fuel and water and it is way too rough for us to try and tie up to a gas dock at this point.  We have 12 bridges to go through and some of them will not open if the winds are 30 mph or higher so that is another thing we have to worry about.  We have a friend who invited us to Thanksgiving dinner there but I don't think its happening :-(

We got our genny back late yesterday afternoon.  They never could replicate the issue we were having.  We did have a new pull string put on it....who knows maybe that was the culprit!?!  Anyway, when we got it back to the boat we tried starting it and it worked on the first pull???

It sounds like everyone from the Kraft family had a wonderful time in Disney World.  In fact, Emom wants to go back next year for her birthday!
