 Such beautiful horses!
 Lady's Island Bridge
 Huge oranges
You gotta stop and smell the flowers!
 Moss trees
 Butterfly!
You see the monohull to the left of Dream Catchers flag....
The marina put both of our boats on one ball because they didn't
have a second one available, and because two other boats were suppose
to be leaving.  The two other boats changed their minds so we
stayed on one ball.  In meantime, we go to town and upon our return
the owner of the monohull told Gary that his boat and Gary's boat had tapped.
No damage was done.  Anyway, while we were in town the other two boats left
so we decided to move Gary's boat if our package didn't come in, if it
did then we were just going to leave....

So in meantime, we are back on our boats and all of a sudden there is
a lot of water coming out of Gary's thru-hull, and I hear Gary yelling Lynn
can you come over here!
I get there and we find his thru-hull had snapped from "wear and tear"
at the base of the hull and water was just gushing in! Luckily we came
back when we did....who knows what we would have been facing!
(This is a picture of ours so you can get an idea of what I'm talking about -
the elbow here is the thru-hull and it snapped where you see all the
corrosion...needless to say, we will be pulling our boat again next year
and replacing our own!)

I meantime, him and Bob are trying to figure out how to fix this issue
until Gary can fix it properly....So they are deciding which dowel will fit
in the hole from the outside because the hole on the inside is to fragile
to be putting to much force on it....
So it's time for Bob to go into the water....he's taking the dowels
with him and going to figure out which would be the better fix....
Bobby loves the water....only a little warmer though!
Gary is inside banging on the hull so Bob can find the hole easier...

They've decided which dowel will work the best and now they are
cutting it to size....
They drilled a hole in the middle of the dowel once it was cut to size,
ran a stainless steel bolt through the middle of it with caulking around it
to keep it from leaking and then ran a piece of stainless steel wire
at the tip of it to attach to the hull once the hole was jammed with the dowel...
pretty ingenious huh! It worked!
I don't know Derek....and his has a light also!
Meet Lady Catherine out of Newport
Now she's a beaut!

 Our sunset with Dream Catcher!
All is quiet and peaceful (for the moment!)

Well our parts came in but we never left!  By the time we got everything under control it was too late to leave, so we took a nap, then went back into town for another walk.  It was a beautiful day today, and in the end, things turned out wonderfully! And yes, our parts did come in! We are leaving in the a.m.  Should be in Georgia by the end of the day!

The sun is rising as Dream Catcher is turning the corner
I'm finally on land and look where I landed!
Both boats on the same ball?  Yikes!
 Gotta love the catamaran!
Sunset!
Today we only had to travel 20 miles so we were here by 11 a.m.  Technically, 10 a.m. but we had to wait an hour for a bridge opening.
Once we landed on ground, I did laundry and Bob & Gary did the running.  They went to the P.O. and a book store.  From there they went grocery shopping.  I was the lucky one this time, I think?
We did get one of the packages today and hopefully will get the second one tomorrow.

I wonder if he is just anchored or if he is a live aboard?
Not a lot of room for walking around that's for sure!
 How about this one Derek?
Not the same without the tuna tower is it??!
 Bridge in Charleston
 Nice!
 Same boat, more sails!
Look at the boat in the background!
 Old work boat?
 Yay!  Elliott's Cut
One of my favorite places on the ICW!
I think it was last year when the current was roaring
through there and we hit almost 10 knots(?) and
turned around and came back through again at 3.5 knots (?)
and did it again!  It was such a rush!
 Boats ahead of us!
They just want out! They are not crazy like me/us!
 Houses along Elliott Cut
Look at all the greenery on the walls of the 1st floor!
and all the moss hanging off the trees!  I love it!
Very boring this year...no current (sad face)
This is on the other side of Elliott's Cut
Bob dropped anchor here coming home last year
 Dinghy's hangin'

Happy Birthday Derek!!!

OK, today I start making curtains!
This is a picture of the old ones...
Woops....had to stop and get a picture of this guy!
New coral curtains vs. old blue curtain...
Look how nice they are from the outside!
See the dolphin cruise boat to the right of Dream Catcher
Our sunset
Not much of one but at least it's not raining and
blowing 30 mph!

Another good day on the boat.  Bob was downstairs on the computer most of the day doing "work" stuff, I was making curtains.  I didn't realize the material I ordered was double ply and a very stretchy type of material.  Very, very difficult to work with especially in such a small area.  I tried to use by heat knife to cut the material but it was so thick the material kept catching on fire, so I opted to scissors!  Smart move! Normally I would make 6 curtains in one day, but with this material, I was thankful to get two done!

We were able to video chat with Jon & Jen tonight...boy what a treat!  It was like being there with them almost.  Those boys are just so darn adorable and getting so big!  I think everyone in the household is finally starting to feel better and everyone is getting to sleep through the night again!

Poor Gary from Dream Catcher has been getting hit pretty hard!
1) Unintentional Jibe which tore his sail, his sail cover and damaged the aft end of the boom
2) Dragged anchor and ended up pulling up a bicycle and while trying to free it lost his boat hook
3) One of the blocks used for pulling up his dinghy broke.  When the dinghy fell his motor went slightly under the water but appears to be ok.
4) A fishing houseboat on a mooring ball broke loose and got tangled around his anchor line so he was up half the night pushing off the houseboat so it wouldn't damage his boat.  The houseboat ended up about a 1/2 mile away from where it started!
I believe he thinks we are bad luck and is ready to break free from us!  hee hee!
