I love these tug boats - they are always immaculate!
Bonita - I thought about you when I saw the seahorse!!
I thought "maybe I could steal that for her...NOT!!"
(this time anyway! :-))
Blue Heron
Nice colorful house...I like how it's decorated on the outside
The falcon said: Can you see me?
Well there's our friend again in about 2' of water...
Her name is Lady Dolphin...
only this time she is on the wrong side of the green 7....
it's red right returning in this area and somehow or another
she managed to go to the wrong side of the 7 and is now stuck
and waiting for Tow Boat US....
Bob managed to clog up his head so I am fixing it...to a point....
He was assigned the part about cleaning out the hose!!!
Yes, that's pooooooo!
Camp Lejeune is playing today!!
The welcoming committee
Scenic shots south of Camp Lejeune
Last night Bob, Gary and I were talking about how we hadn't seen
any kind of wildlife or sea life and we were so far south already...
today we must have seen 15 dolphins....of course this was all
we got in pictures!
3 buoys - red in front and two greens
which way do I go !??! which way do I go!!??
You don't want to go the wrong way!
This is an Osprey. Its nacelle rotates 90 degrees allowing
it to take off like a helicopter and then fly like an airplane.
It's the first time we had seen these. They had to get the
bugs out as they kept crashing.
Here it had just taken off as a helicopter.
So we are sitting here and enjoying the moment (after our nap
of course) and who do we see??? Lady Dolphin!
Sun setting shot
Simply beautiful!
Simply one of the most beautiful rides in these parts we've ever had. The seas were flat all day (we can't sail very well in these parts unless the wind is perfect as we were in skinny water), it warmed up to 68 degrees by noon, we hit all the right current/tides, one time hitting 9.2 knots which is screaming for us. I fixed the head, we had a great nap, the rest of the sunset was beautiful, and then Bob watched 4 hours of, "Criminal Minds." Off to Wrightsville Beach tomorrow.
