Happy Birthday Derek!!!

OK, today I start making curtains!
This is a picture of the old ones...
Woops....had to stop and get a picture of this guy!
New coral curtains vs. old blue curtain...
Look how nice they are from the outside!
See the dolphin cruise boat to the right of Dream Catcher
Our sunset
Not much of one but at least it's not raining and
blowing 30 mph!

Another good day on the boat.  Bob was downstairs on the computer most of the day doing "work" stuff, I was making curtains.  I didn't realize the material I ordered was double ply and a very stretchy type of material.  Very, very difficult to work with especially in such a small area.  I tried to use by heat knife to cut the material but it was so thick the material kept catching on fire, so I opted to scissors!  Smart move! Normally I would make 6 curtains in one day, but with this material, I was thankful to get two done!

We were able to video chat with Jon & Jen tonight...boy what a treat!  It was like being there with them almost.  Those boys are just so darn adorable and getting so big!  I think everyone in the household is finally starting to feel better and everyone is getting to sleep through the night again!

Poor Gary from Dream Catcher has been getting hit pretty hard!
1) Unintentional Jibe which tore his sail, his sail cover and damaged the aft end of the boom
2) Dragged anchor and ended up pulling up a bicycle and while trying to free it lost his boat hook
3) One of the blocks used for pulling up his dinghy broke.  When the dinghy fell his motor went slightly under the water but appears to be ok.
4) A fishing houseboat on a mooring ball broke loose and got tangled around his anchor line so he was up half the night pushing off the houseboat so it wouldn't damage his boat.  The houseboat ended up about a 1/2 mile away from where it started!
I believe he thinks we are bad luck and is ready to break free from us!  hee hee!
