 U.S. Coast Guard
Hobucken, N.C.
No better spot than right on the ICW!
 O.K. June.....your secret is out!
Upon our return I want a fish and crustaceans cookout!
This was the guy that dragged anchor and almost hit us....
Now he's in the huge body of water and is still trying to hit us...
Bob keeps moving away from him and he keeps sneaking back
up to us!
Derek & Shelley!  Do you remember our slip....
maybe not since the sun is out and it poured down
rain for the 3 days we were here with you!
 There's Gary!
He's been here a week.  He's waiting to get his sail cover back...
It's being re-stitched from a minor mishap earlier this week!
Hopefully he will be leaving on Wednesday...
Had these guys come in last night....
We are thinking they are the Marines from Camp Lejeune
We should be anchored there tomorrow night
 Our sunset tonight!

Today was a busy day for us.  Bob did 3/4 of the driving while I cleaned around the boat....
I finally unpacked my carry bag I used between Jenny's and our boat during my time with her....sad day unpacking that bag!  I also did a lot of picking up and stowing stuff away today.  We've got a couple of large bodies of water (which can be rough) we are getting ready to go through and stuff needs to be secured.

I also did some waxing outside on the boat, cleaning of stainless steel, cleaned up any scuff marks that were around the boat, and washed the outside windows. I'm hoping the next time we stop for a day or two I will get my toe rails done, do more waxing, and finish the stainless steel.  Doesn't sound like I got a lot done looking at it like that!

We've been without phone and internet service for the last couple of days.  Bob said he remembered having issues with phone service in NC so I'm going to wait and see how things go once we are out of  NC.  Hopefully better!

I have to admit it was a cold day today.  We only hit a high of 57 but luckily the wind was at our stern.  The low tonight is somewhere around 37.  Yikes!  It's going to be cold!
