This is where we anchored last night....
This fishing cabin was on a ball located between
Dream Catcher and Storymaker when we dropped
anchor....this morning this is where the boat ended
up....it dragged the ball about a half mile before it
stopped...and somehow it luckily ended up in the water
and not on marsh land!
This is what we woke up to this morning. We had an
8 foot tide last night...all our marsh is under water.
Luckily we put out all our anchor chain. We were
still a little nervous with the tide changes 8 to 10'
That's right....I washed the boat during pouring down
rain and winds at 20- 25 mph with gusts to 30!
This little guy was really struggling in the rain.
I tried to get him to come to me but he wouldn't.
I wanted him to get to safety!
Gary sends me this picture and said
"Check out this dude!"
I was happy to see he was out of the water
and yes...it is the same bird! :-)
Now he's back on our boat...this morning when
Bob went out to start the genny the bird was laying up
on top of the boat above the steering area...Bob didn't see
him and when he came out he scared the bird which in
turn scared Bob...so Bob has been chasing him all over
the place trying to get him....for what I'm not sure!
Here he is again...Bob still taking pictures!!!
There's my Cameron...so handsome!
And another handsome boy! Andrew!!
Grrandmama loves the two of you!!
Cameron you are a ham! Andrew says "I'm playing hard!"
Today was a great day. We slept till 9 a.m., played cards until 2, I washed the boat until 3:30 while Bob cleaned his office, napped for two hours, watched Lester and played some more cards!! We will be staying another day due to weather and then headed for Beaufort, SC. We are hoping our dinghy motor parts will be there!
