Our morning sunrise
The next few pictures are scenic sunrise pictures
I want this tiki umbrella!
and....Ronald McDonald!
2 Bald Eagles!
Same boat, same place as last year! Still no new sails!
scenic
OK....here's another one of those "good stories...."
This is a big boat, and I'm quite surprised that it is anchored where
it is at...I just keep taking pictures of it....while I'm driving (hint hint)
I'm coming into a new river, St. John's, when all of a sudden I see
my anchored boat off to the right of me....and when I say off to the right
I do mean off to the right! Somehow or another I didn't see this big arse thing!
I was doing about 6.2 knots getting ready to enter an intersection, and needless
to say, I did not have the right away....so I slammed the boat into neutral
and then into reverse as quickly as possible....and by then, Bob was up next to me
going "oh my God, move out of the way!!" You see, he was napping and I woke him from
a dead sleep with all my shenanigans! But in my defense, I would not have hit it, but I
might have pooped my pants!!!! I have to say I'm surprised Bob didn't! ;-)
Oh, and this is where I was going to turn right.....which was not
the right direction either! I've told Bob several times that I don't see
so well....that's why I was turning right. I could see red and green
markers to the right but not on the other side of the intersection!
If I could push the buttons on my chart plotter I would have seen
that I was to go straight instead of right!

Bob was very impressed with these propellers and asked me to take a picture of them....
The boys Easter gift!
So very cute! Thank you Ed & Mena!
These are the eggs I put on the blog the other day from Ed & Mena!
We are pulling into Fernandina Marina to get fuel and water....while
Bob was doing that I was going to run to the PO real quick and mail out
the boys Easter gift. We are pulling in when the marina people tell us
the diesel pump is out of service but they could assist with water if we wanted it.
We couldn't stay at the pier so I could run to the PO in case another boat
came so we moved on up the road...we will be getting fuel tomorrow
at Jekell's Marina in GA....
Bob putting the rest of the diesel we have into the tank!
He told me to make sure I came back for him should he fall in the water!
He also said to try not to hit any submarines while he was down
there also! There is a sub base in the area. We saw a sub
2 years ago! I told him I would behave myself!!
Well we finally got out of Florida! We are about 15 miles south of Brunswick, GA.
I have to say that things seem to be settling down for us on the boat as far as mishaps go. The starboard engine is still doing good, the chart plotter is working as long as we don't touch any of the keys (we have it set at a quarter of a mile, at times we sure wish we could touch it!), my bridle is working out pretty good (Bob tells me how much he wants me to put out, and I subtract 5' from that number...in the end it all works out!), there's only one other thing that needs to be taken care of (well kinda) and that is getting the boys Easter package out, and that won't happen until the Carolina's probably!
We feel good about being out of FL. It's such a long state when traveling, especially when you're excited to get home!
