I love these pictures of the birds sitting on the sand!
Do you think this boat has enough anchors out?
I may have taken this same picture last year!
Another one bites the dust!
The next few pictures are of how low the water is and
how close we are to it....
It's hard to believe there are 3 boats tied together here on
the other side of the sand, and we are only this far away...
(in other words, not far:-))
The light blue sailboat to the left of the three together has run aground
The two boats next to them was traveling too close so they all ended
up in a row....boy was she mad...she just kept yelling "we have run
aground, go around us" so everyone had to move at the same time....
All of them were at fault (3) this was a left turn off of the river and
a very tricky area as there were lots of sand bars and unless you had
a fish finder you wouldn't know that....but you should anyway if you
travel the ICW enough....
One of these days I'm going to get a picture of a pelican diving for fish....
that, or figure out how to put slow-mo on my camera!
Our beautiful sunset tonight
I told Bob he got great shots of the sunset (last night) and he
told me I should have been there for it....I went to bed at 4p.m.!
Unfortunately, we have gotten our small oil leak back.....
Bob cut up some strips to put where it's leaking so we know how
much is leaking and to keep his engine clean :-)
You can see the small strip between the two hoses on the engine....
Luckily we only need to change it out every 4 hours or so....
We did a little over 60 miles today, which was a long day for us, at least up to this point. By the time we dropped anchor I was exhausted and was in bed by 4 p.m.
It was a beautiful day out and tomorrow is supposed to be the same. We are hoping to get a mooring ball in St. Augustine, I still have to mail the boys Easter package out! Yikes!!
