Our sunset tonight
We were quite surprised at how well the wind and waves calmed down overnight. We actually pulled anchor (no problems :-)) and went another 30 miles north. We are trying to get to Norfolk as soon as possible so we can make decisions on whether or not we will be able to go any further for a while. There are north winds coming with gusts of 30+ knots and we just don't want to fight that. In fact, we can't fight that....that's just asking for trouble.
So, in saying that, we may be stuck in Norfolk, Va. for 3 or 4 days if we are lucky, maybe longer.
