Adams Creek 040716

Check this out.  It's part of Camp Lejeune
They were doing some artillery playing...they even
had orange people running around!  (You could see the
artillery way off on the horizon but I couldn't get a good
shot of it....this was not in progress :-))
I'm trying to get a good picture of the waves to give you an
idea of how crazy it was out there today!  You are looking at a "Blind"
for duck hunting....
 scenic pictures

You would think out of 6 dolphins swimming around we could
get a better shot....oh well, we enjoyed the moment!

This morning we had to wait out a storm before we could leave.  It was a really good one!  Thunder, lightening, winds around 40 mph and then all of a sudden the sun comes out and it's time for us to go.  We left around 10:20.  Supposedly, the winds were to be around 15 knots today...NOT!....most of the day they were blowing 25 with 30 gusts, then they were blowing at 33 - 35 sustained for about an hour.  Talk about a ride! So between the wind and current it was quite an adventurous day!
