The last couple of days have been pretty quiet for us. Bob started getting the sore throat thing and I immediately poured cough medicine down his throat and sent him to bed....well, it didn't go exactly like that....I poured it down his throat....he was already on his way to bed. Nothing like a nap when you're not feeling well, or even if you are!
We are leaving George Town and starting our trek back north. Not in any hurry, just taking our time and stopping at places we haven't been yet. We didn't do as much in George Town as we could have, but we feel relaxed and ready to start some new adventures. At least we know what to expect next year and know what and where we want to be anchored at!
I do know that next year we will bring more cash. They tax the heck out of your credit cards, banking cards, but cash is somewhat worth more. First they charge you $3+ to use your card, then of course they have a 7.5 % VAT tax here. So I decided to go to the ATM machine to get some cash out and it even charged me 7.5% VAT tax there. So, now I get to spend another 7.5% when I buy something with what I took out of the machine!
