Around 1 a.m. the storm starts
These are the pictures I got when we got up...it was still
pretty mild
Starting to get a little rougher!
and a little darker!
We may be in for a good one!
This poor boat got his butt kicked coming in....then after he
gets in he has to take his dog to shore....gotta feel for him!
Same guy 45 minutes later
Water is really getting rough now....
we are only about 150' from the wall!
Between the current and the winds we were getting pounded!
It doesn't stop until about 06:30 in the morning the following day!
This is the worst storm Bob and I have been through, it is also the
only storm we were not prepared for! Lot's of lessons learned here!
Lesson #1 - Always be prepared!
Synopsis of what we went through....Imagine Storymaker
in the water with Cameron (look how much fun he is having!)
Now put Storymaker in the water with him for 24 hours.....by the
time he finished splishing and splashing we were wiped!
There is nothing left to say except:!!! Nap time!!!
