George Town to Black Point 2/1/16

Monday, February 1, 2016
There was a lot of traffic on the Sound today!
Jay & Joans boat
Slo Desire
Money, money, money!
Fishing pole out!  Gonna get a big one today!
These fish don't have a chance...not with two poles out!
We are coming into the cut at Black Point....the next few
pictures are of the raging waters....luckily the wind was only
blowing 7 knots....we would have gone through at 10 knots probably
but no more than that!

Behind us!
As soon as we get through the cut we see this....
I guess he must have dropped anchor at high tide not knowing
this was going to happen at low tide...not sure how
long he has been there but it hasn't been that long!
The cut we just came through.  Bob and I are going back there
(hopefully) on the dinghy and going to do some fishing there....
If I'm going to get a fish I'm going to have to hunt it down!
You very rarely see 3 41' lagoons in the same place!
Our sunset with Ganja!

We had a great trip up in the Sound.  We had following seas the whole time.  No, Derek, I did not catch any fish, but I'm still trying, and so are the rest of the cruisers. Jay thought he had something yesterday, but didn't :-(

It sure was nice charging the engines for several hours on the trip.  The batteries have been getting lower and lower so we needed this trip.  They are nice and full now!

Tomorrow is my big day! Laundry! Yaay!
