Today we walked up to Boo Boo Hill and the Blow Holes
This is a step-by-step of our adventure!
The winds have been pretty bad the last couple of days
so most people stayed on their boats. This morning we were
having coffee in the cockpit of our boat and these
people showed up and was frolicking on the sand bar!
The beginning of our walk
We are headed to Boo Boo Hill to leave our "Storymaker
We had to cross here....it got pretty deep at times
(sinking in the sand I mean!)
This is a picture of Boo Boo Hill at the very top!
Our path....at least its sand now and not limestone...
We are headed for Boo Boo Hill first
Overlooking Warderick Wells Park....we are the third
boat from the right
Look at all the boats who have left memorabilia!
Oopsie! We see you were here!
The other side of the park
Storymaker
Headed for beach now
Whoops! Can't forget to get a picture of Storymaker!
You'll notice on the sign I painted a picture of our boat...
but! did you notice the Middle River Yacht Club flag!??!
Can you tell we are at the blow holes now....people are
cautiously looking into them!
This blow hole is no where near them....we saw it from a
distance and walked over to it
Can it get any better than this!
These are two blow holes but nothing I coming out of them
You can hear the water running under them!
Another one. I was trying to get a picture so you could
see down inside of it.
This is a hutia....they were thought to be extinct but have
shown up again!
Needless to say, we had a great day today. We had some rain for the first time in a month we think. It was about 4 this morning and the winds were blowing at about 26 knots! It was nice having some calm weather for a change and getting the opportunity to walk the path to Boo Boo Hill.
Bob made crab quesadia's tonight for us with my instructions of course!
