When I pulled the anchor up from George Town I found all
this "live stuff" on the chain....not sure what it is but it is yucky, slimey,
and all the gooey things you can think of....worst part is....I get up the next morning
and my boat smells like fish! Gonna have to find a way to clean that up!
Anchorage...same place...lot's more boats here this time!
Yaay! We meet up with "Oopsie" again!
Tom, Cindy, Bob and I
Today was kind of a crazy day! I did 7 loads of laundry, and in the process managed to spill bleach on the blue t-shirt I was wearing! I ended up buying a Wash Up at Rockside Laundromat Black Point Exuma Cays t-shirt to throw over top of mine. I'll wear the other one when I go to the laundromat once I get home! :-)
While I was doing laundry I was trying to do computer work at the same time. It just doesn't work! Especially since Ida (woman who owns Laundromat/entrepreneur) has several different businesses going on at the same time, same place. Yesterday she was cutting a guys hair just outside the entrance door as you enter the Laundromat, while other family members were cooking and delivering food to the customers as they were doing laundry. Chaos I say! Chaos!
Then Bob got caught up in his own little chaos. Our charged batteries are dead this morning....we pretty much have to start the genny to jump start the boat batteries. Let's hope nothing happens to that genny or we are dead in the water.....so, we got a number for a place in Nassau to order two more batteries (enough to keep us floating/moving along). They are supposed to be on the mail boat that comes in tomorrow. Thank Goodness....but he sure did have to make a lot of phone calls, and fax a lot of paperwork to get it taken care of! No problem, mon!
