As we are coming into Rose Island we notice that someone "attempted"
to bring a marina in at this spot...but they gave up?
My flower is still a bloomin'!
Comin' into Allans Cay!
Look you see that tower????
It's a fake!
More pictures of Allans Cay
You're own private island with it's very own palm tree!
More scenery
Uh oh....do you see that iguanas!
More beauty
They sure grow them large here!

and more iguana's!
What about me?!They sure grow them large here!
There are actually three cays here;
Allans Cay, Leaf Cay and Southwest Allan’s Cay, but they are called Allans Cay.
The principle attraction is the large population of rock iguanas found on Leaf
Cay and SW Allan’s Cay.
What
a beautiful day it has been. We left
Rose Island around 9 a.m. and arrived at Allans Cay around 3 p.m. We traveled through Yellow Bank to get here
with winds around 15 and seas around 3 feet.
We know we can do it in the future at 15 mph, not sure we want any more
wind than that.
Once
we got here….whoa!....what a beautiful spot!
We saw our own private island with its one lonely palm tree and fell in
love with it, and! It has iguanas also! We are thinking about moving over there
tomorrow just for the heck of it!
We
took a really nice dinghy ride, checked out the sandy beaches close to us, and
were back in time for Happy Hour….I felt like my whole day was a Happy Hour!!
