Today
was a long cruising day. We went 71 miles
averaging about 7 knots. I put up
Christmas decorations all around the boat except up the mast, just in case we
can sail before we get to Georgetown! We
haven’t seen sun for any length of time for a long, long, time. In fact, it’s been so long our solar lights
haven’t been able to get enough sun to even light up at night! Now that’s pretty bad! We didn’t have any phone service today at
all. I have a funny feeling getting cell
service or internet service is going to be few and far between; unless you’re a
good size island, or cay, they’re just isn’t anything available. I think once we get a little further south it
will get better….I hope so anyway.
