Miami Day 5

Monday, December 7, 2015
Bob bought me this giant Amaryllis for my
birthday....You see the bud behind the leaves???...
It was a peeper in the bulb just like the one in the front here....
you literally could have watched it grow in front of your eyes!
I can't wait to see the bloom(s)!
This boat came in during pouring, and I mean, pouring down rain
yesterday....The only color you see is them and the boat!
Moving right along on the aft stateroom, Nauti Dreams
The other side of the room
We still have a leak and guess what it is!
It is the seep hole at the bottom of the pole that
we just found yesterday, at least that is our theory today...
check in again tomorrow! We taped it to see what happens....
 That's right! I got her! and she's a beaut!!
Now what do I do with her! She's so tiny! Maybe a foot and a half tall!
Good things will happen to her!
 Another beautiful sunset tonight....hmmmmm....but
there was a sign of sun, something we haven't seen for any
length of time for a long, long, time!
Check this out!  Everything back where it belongs, except the ceiling
on one side, and we still have a pail hanging around....hopefully
not for long....
Back to normal....normally not so cluttered but with all the rain
we had to bring the cushions and carpet into the "house" and
I had to put the other half of the ceiling somewhere!  The two
boxes are Christmas decorations!  Can't wait!  Excited!

No play day today....we worked in the boat most of the day and about 4 p.m. we went into town.  Yesterday the Publix had lots, and lots, of Christmas trees so I knew I would get one there. Little did I know they would sell everyone of them except for the 3 that were there when we got there!  I was lucky to get what I got....it's real, it's cute, it smells like a Christmas tree, it's mine!  I love it!

Bob tried to get some water for the boat yesterday but the place we used to go in the past had the hose taken away and the knob had been taken off.  We asked someone close what was going on and he said that they don't want cruisers in this area and they are making it very difficult for us/locals to get to anything.  So no water there!  They have also posted "Tow away" signs up and down the canal for dinghy's, you have to go about a mile down to the closest ramp for dinghy's and I'm thinking that will probably change again next year....I told Bob they probably ran out of "Tow Away" signs and had to make more up!  The one good thing though, it's in front of the Publix!

Can't wait to see the sun again for a full day!
