Ft. Lauderdale Day 4

Happy Birthday to the best husband in the world!  At least in my world!

Hmmmmm....The girls working in this store had it down pat as
to how to get customers in their store....but luckily I didn't spend
much time or any money in there!

Still in my own little whirlwind!

 

For the last week Bob has been checking the weather at least 4 times a day.  I get up this morning, look at the weather, and it has changed drastically.  We no longer have a 3-day weather window, in fact, today is the only day we can move on to the Bahamas.  So, I wake Bob up at 6:30, forget to say Happy Birthday to him, and tell him it appears the weather window has changed and it appears as though today is the only real day we have.  Tomorrow is technically a good day as far as wind goes, but there's a 100% chance of rain with heavy thunderstorms, so that's out, then the winds shift back to the northerly components again, which means we sit again....

 

But the good news!! I get to go and get my Christmas tree today and Bob and I will play all day for his birthday.  We could move down to Miami but we've already done Miami quite a bit and haven't done Ft. Lauderdale, at least this spot, so we are staying here. 

 

I guess I better get my phone reactivated....and because we thought we were leaving we went hog wild on our internet usage and have no gigs left so I need to buy some more of them before I end up paying twice as much for them!


We had a great day today...we are still up and down when we can leave....I guess we will know when it happens!
