When we anchored here our first night there was a small
sail boat on the starboard side of us, the following morning
we got up and she was gone. We thought she had left, although
the boat looked like it had been abandoned. I get up this
morning and I see the boat again....only this time it's on it's
side, sunk, with her dinghy just a head of her in the water!
The wind and rain was just a little too much for her I guess!
Flagler Memorial Island
Lot's of cruise ships in the back ground!
Fixing our little water leak issue!
I'm getting it done! One side back up anyway!
Until it stops raining there wasn't much more we could do with the
leaking issue so we have moved on to our stereo issue....by the way
Bill I will be sending the radio back because one of the channels was
out just like you said! How do you like my pillow? It's the same
material as my windows only the opposite side...
Look! Venus is here!
It's been a rainy cloudy day all day and this boat pulls
up with about 8 people on it and they decided it was a perfect
day for partying on the water! They had fun! Until it started
pouring down rain again with a little lightening and thunder!
Our sunset tonight! hee hee!
The red dot is where we are anchored
This is the newest boat out by Norwegian Cruise Lines
This was all you could see of it in the binoculars....we are about
3/4 of a mile from where the boat is leaving....
Full shot of the Norwegian Escape
It is 1,098 feet long, 136' wide, holds 4,298 passengers
and has a crew of 1,731.
Another ship leaving in the night!
By the way, we saw the mouse escape last night!
Another work day on the boat but got lots of good stuff done. We only have one channel that is working on our "new" radio but at least Bobby got it to work for us.
We have caulked around the post where one of our leaks was, but until it stops raining, we can't fix the other leak. So we are taping it for now with the hopes of no more water coming into the aft stateroom. I'm hoping to get the room back together in the next couple of days!
